LAST WEEK: Rotary Connects the World
Summit Rotary welcomed visiting Rotarian Uttam Jaiswal, International Service Chair of the Rotary E-Club of Bangalore, India, as our guest speaker on August 24. Joining the meeting as a guest was fellow Indian Rotarian Sukumar Balakrishnan of the Rotary Club of Sathy, adding another international dimension to the afternoon's fellowship.
Uttam shared how his innovative e-club connects members across India and around the globe while leading projects that strengthen communities through education, humanitarian relief, and support for visually impaired individuals in West Africa.
A highlight of the meeting was a banner exchange celebrating the friendship between our clubs and Rotary's global network of service. Members enjoyed hearing about Rotary in India, witnessing the connection between two visiting Rotarians from different parts of the country, and discussing ways clubs from opposite sides of the world can work together to make a positive impact.
We thank Uttam for his inspiring presentation and fellowship, thank Sukumar for joining us during his visit to the United States, and wish both Rotarians safe travels and continued success in their service work.
Service Above Self truly knows no borders.
