This Week’s Speaker: Eloise Samuels — Champion for Youth Voices
Eloise Samuels, founder and CEO of New Jersey Orators, Inc., joins us Tuesday. Since 1985, she has built one of the region’s most respected youth‑development organizations, now spanning 22 chapters across New Jersey and Pennsylvania and serving 5,500+ students ages 7–18.
Her nonprofit equips young people with public speaking, reading literacy, and leadership skills—tools that change academic trajectories and build lifelong confidence. Samuels’ work has earned major recognition, including the Johnson & Johnson King Community Service Award and the New Jersey Black Issues Community Change Award in Education.
A former telecommunications executive and certified project manager, she continues to advocate for educational equity and community empowerment. Expect an energizing and mission‑driven program.

🩸 Community Service Spotlight: Blood Drive – June 4
Our second blood drive of 2026 is nearly here.
Date: Thursday, June 4
Location: Central Presbyterian Church, 70 Maple St., Summit
Time: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
We’ll need volunteers for registration and check‑in. Watch your inbox for the volunteer sign‑up link.

NJ Service Foundation Raffle: Strong Finish
The annual raffle wrapped up today with 20+ members—active and associate—participating in ticket sales. Thanks to everyone’s effort, the club stands to raise just over $1,500 for service initiatives.
The drawing will be held June 3 in North Plainfield. Fingers crossed that a few of our members hear their names called.
