🔔 Rotary Headlight – Monday, October 20 Edition

📍 Rotary Meets Monday at 12:15 PM at Christ Church
Our program today features the Democratic Candidates for Summit Common Council. Below are the candidate bios, as provided by their campaigns:

🗳️ Dan Crisafulli – At Large Candidate
Dan Crisafulli is a sustainable finance professional and committed volunteer. He currently serves on Summit’s Environmental Commission, having been appointed by both Democratic and Republican mayors. A dedicated family man, Dan is the proud father of a Summit High School graduate now in her second year of college. Until recently, his elderly mother lived with them, giving Dan firsthand insight into the needs of families, seniors, and empty nesters. He’s running to help make Summit work better for everyone.

🗳️ Jaclyn Lasaracina – Ward 1 Candidate
Jaclyn Lasaracina is a public school parent, corporate governance professional, and former attorney and executive. She’s grateful to be raising her family in Summit and hopes to apply her professional and community experience to enhance the city. Jaclyn has served on Summit Public Art and chairs the leadership council of a local nonprofit supporting low-income families. Her platform includes protecting schools, supporting seniors, investing in pedestrian and bicycle safety, and preventing unnecessary tax increases. She enjoys time outdoors with family, The Golden Girls, and visiting national parks.

🗳️ Chantal Landman – Ward 2 Candidate
Chantal Landman and her husband, David, have called Summit home for 16 years. A mother of two public school students, Chantal has volunteered with GRACE, Moms Helping Moms, Impact 100 Garden State, Summit Educational Foundation, the Junior League, and Summit’s Environmental Commission projects. Professionally, she spent over two decades at Goldman Sachs, rising to senior executive roles. She’s running to bring leadership, transparency, and collaboration to city government, with a commitment to listening, advocating, and leading for all Summit residents.
