We’re honored to welcome Anjali Rao McCormick, newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Summit Area YMCA, as our guest speaker. A longtime Summit resident and seasoned YMCA leader, Anjali previously served as Interim CEO, Senior Vice President, and COO. Her career began in marketing and includes leadership roles at Citibank and American Express, blending corporate expertise with a deep commitment to community service.

Anjali holds degrees from Harvard University and NYU’s Stern School of Business. She led the Westport Weston Family YMCA through the challenges of COVID-19, achieving full membership capacity and launching new programs. Since returning to Summit, she has strengthened the Y’s leadership team and expanded programming for all ages.

As the Summit Area YMCA approaches its 140th anniversary, Anjali shared, “I am deeply grateful and energized about continuing that legacy and leading this treasured community resource through growth and increased impact.” Her strategic vision and passion for the Y’s mission make her an inspiring leader for our community.

The newly formed Summit-NP Rotary Program Team will meet briefly at 1:30 PM following the September 8 meeting. Agenda includes confirming speakers for:
