IN ABOUT AN HOUR .....Our guests will be the  Republican candidates for Council in the City of Summit.  Mark Gundersen and Don Nelson will join us for lunch and conversation.  Each will have an opportunity to make a presentation and then respond to your questions.   Their full bios, taken from their campaign websites are at the end of this email. 

 

These meetings are a very good opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors from Summit to meet the candidates.  Please let us know if you are bringing guests as we want to prepare for the right numbers. 

 

"As explained by Donna Patel, Chair of the Summit Environmental Commission and fellow Rotarian, the Summit Library started a Native Seed Library last year.  On Tues., Oct. 15, at 10 am, the Summit Library is hosting an in-person session for Rotarians to learn how to help sort and label the seeds. The Native Seed Library is available to the public - people are allowed to take up to 3 seed packets. Many native plant seeds have been collected but are waiting to be sorted into small groups of seeds and labelled for distribution."  THAT IS THIS TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15^TH AT 10 AM
