Our speaker on Monday will be Vanita Gangwal of Millburn. She will speak on youth and municipality initiatives in Millburn to restore biodiversity and mitigate warming temperatures. Vanita Gangwal is a Millburn Environmental Commissioner; Partner at KPMG; Trustee of The Nature Conservancy
Millburn resident Vanita Gangwal currently serves as a Partner at KPMG, specializing in taxation for the Asset Management Industry. The mother of two teenage boys, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from Baruch College and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Syracuse University. During her college years, she interned with organizations such as the World Bank and Care International, gaining experience in policy research and disaster recovery.
Recently appointed to the Millburn Environmental Commission, Vanita aims to advocate for comprehensive sustainability and environmental resiliency policies for the township.
Fun Fact: Vanita grew up in Jaipur, India and moved to the US after High School. During High School, she was an active member and President of her School’s Interact Club, student arm of the Rotary Club and won a Gold Medal for the Best Interacter for the year 1993-1994 for her leadership and service.
