It's been 101 years since our club was born. Thank you all for your continued support and dedication. Without you, our list of achievements would never have come to life. As we start a new year we are also starting to work with a new Data Management Company .... ClubRunner. Each of us will have the opportunity to update information, send emails to other club members and participate at all levels of Rotary.

National Political Conventions: Why a July Surprise is Not Just Possible, but Likely

Come enjoy a civics-based overview of the current presidential election nonpartisan, no-blame, and 4-way test friendly! It has been fascinating to dip into the history of US political conventions - full of surprises such as a final nominee not receiving a single vote on the first ballot, etc. Add some background on televised debates starting with Nixon-Kennedy in 1960. Then add what we all know about nonprofits and bylaws (yes, political parties are nonprofit entities.) We'll see why a surprise in July in Milwaukee may not be so surprising.
(And August surprises are possible, too!).
