SCHOLARSHIP MONDAY:  Last Monday we awarded our 101st series of scholarships to four outstanding seniors from Summit and New Providence High schools.

In addition to the recipients and their families, in attendance were Lauren Zirpoli, superintendent of New Providence schools, Brian Henry, Principal of NPHS, Scott Haugh, superintendent of Summit schools and Stacy Grimaldi, principal of SHS.  Mr. Henry and Ms. Grimaldi introduced their respective students and they each gave a very brief description of where they planned to matriculate and their areas of interest.

The recipients from NPHS are, Chase Yarnell, attending Northwestern University and Eva Krautheim, attending West Chester University.  The recipients from SHS are Emma Matamoros, attending Seton Hall and Nicola Solis-Negron, attending Washington University (st. Louis).

The Rotary is delighted and proud to support these scholars and wish them success on the next step of their journey.
