Over 100 Years of Service
We meet on alternating Mondays at Christ Church in Summit starting at 12:15 pm.

There WAS NO Meeting on Presidents Day
This is a re-run of yesterday's newsletter for those who may not have opened their emails over the long weekend.

January and February have been busy months at the SNP Rotary.

In January we delivered 515 US Constitutions to the school systems in New Providence and Summit.  Each middle-schooler in each district will receive a copy of the Constitution in a durable booklet format to be used in conjunction with their civics studies.

In February we delivered 475 English language and 10 English/Spanish dictionaries to the NP and Summit school districts.  Every third-grader in each district will receive a copy of one of these dictionaries which have been specifically designed to be used by children in the age range of eight to nine.  The instructors love this project as the dictionaries are now considered to be an excellent teaching tool for vocabulary and enhancing referencing skills.

Finally, in February, each member of the SNP Rotary was handed or sent at least one booklet of raffle tickets being sponsored by our district.  This raffle is a 50/50 and the SNP Rotary will receive 50% of the proceeds which will be used to help finance our scholarships and other activities.
